Career colleges Promise to link & career college & Promise
North Carolina high school students can earn college credit through special initiatives called career colleges & PromiseStudents in high school can participate in a wide range of University courses-freecredit for them or their families. Students earn both high school and college credit for coursescompleted. Courses are offered in the fall, spring, summer and through the North Carolina Community College System.

Career colleges Promise & offers three paths to help succeed after high school before a student'seligibility:

College Transfer-earn course credit tuition exemption for a four-year program through the North Carolina Community College.

Technical recruitment-earn course credit free of tuition fees at a NC Community College towards anentry level credential, certificate, or diploma in a technical career.

Cooperative innovative High School (limited)-start earning college credit tuition exemption as afreshman high school by attending an Innovative Cooperative High School.
